ANDRITZ Develops NEW Low Profile Line of Belt Filter Presses

October 28, 2003 Arlington, Texas: ANDRITZ has developed their new line of SMX Low Profile Belt Presses for plants with moderate sludge production rates. The new machines use the patented, self adjusting "cambered" wedge zone and dual perforated rollers for increased performance. They are available in 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 meter widths with 8, 10, 12, or 14 pressure rollers. Frames are available with hot dipped galvanized or stainless steel materials. Standard components include VFD control for both belts, liftable plows, easily accessible UHMWPE wear strips for belt support, and high quality roller covering of rubber, nylon, or stainless steel.

Other recent innovations include the POWERDRAIN line of vertical and horizontal static and/or dynamic drum thickeners. The new, space saving line of thickeners are suitable as stand alone unit processes or combined with our belt filter press systems.
